Well last Feb we visited friends in TV for about the third time and decided it was for us. In June we bought a home in Lake Deaton via FaceTime with our great realtor, Tony Trussler. We did this for our eventual retirement next August....all the while saying if we can wait that long. We made a partial move in July, visited again in September and tomorrow we are driving from Chicago for a 2-week visit which is probably our first 2-week vacation in 43 years. Then guess what? We have an appointment with a realtor here in Chicago the day after we return to list our house here in Chicago to list our house and we will be moving after the sale. So we couldn't wait until next August. I knew it. My husband may be able to do his job from there, but if not he is retiring and we're done. Heck, you can't take it with you. So we are very excited today and it looks like we will be the snowstorm coming starting Tuesday. Here we come!🚘
