Anyone know why the exit gates were removed? Something to do with the storm warnings perhaps?

Don't know for sure. I know they're supposed to be putting longer gates up. Just a guess they may be starting that project.

The Villages are making the gates longer - making it so you can no longer get around them with your golf car.

Don't know if this is why in your area - but - they have removed others today.

May well be a part of on-going "policy" which seems to be that when inclement weather is upon us, all gates are up!

Seen it many times. But, they are putting in longer gates, too.

I asked Community Watch why the gates were removed. He said becaue of the predicted stormy weather they removed the gates in case areas needed to be evacuated. The gates were back in place early this morning.
