Default BUFFALO BURGERS at Publix

I was shopping this evening at Publix and noticed that they had packaged buffalo burgers. That would be the Publix off 466A...I wonder...

Default Very Good

When I moved back to Florida from Las Vegas, I had the occasion to stop twice in Texas where they served buffalo burgers. Prices were very reasonable and a heck of a lot less fat than cattle. Better for you also.

NOnie. Don't make me image it. A cow is a sweet little brown and white entity and beef is food.

Repeat after me GracieGirl.

NONIE.

I just threw my bacon down the disposal and I am remembering my Easter chickies when I am looking at my eggs.

Sheesh!

Yes, buffalo topped with batter fried love-bugs and BBQ sauce makes a great burger. We could call it "TV burger"! Instead of a bun we could put it on flatbread and serve it at Urban Flats.

Default Bison Burgers

I noted while trying to avoid the "mob" at FM, that they also have bison burgers. For the life of me I don't remember the price, but there were a lot less grams of fat and cholesterol.

Never had a buffalo burger but I have had severalT-Bone buffalo steaks over the years and they are great. Much healthier for you than beef steaks.

My local Costco and Pathmark sell ground bison. We have also been in a few restaurants that serve the burgers.

Gmoney - As you can see by the 200+ homes that are in the old buffalo pasture, the visitors could have NEVER touched the animals and they would still have be relocated. The land is simply too valuable to leave as a zoo. It was a nice tax deduction while they figured out what to do with the land but their time in TV was at an end. But let's not get into that discussion again
