Default Tree Frogs

Does anyone have a good recommendation on how to rid my yard of tree frogs? I have a goldfish pond outside of my MB window, and they keep me up all night. I went to Lowe's, but they were not helpful.

UF has a fantastic Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences. IFAS and they train master gardeners with a chapter in Sumter County. You might try that for guidance. Those frogs are ubiquitous and loud. good luck.

the frogs belong here, we are only trespassers. have you tried some sort of 'white noise' sleep aid? you can hear them thru the walls and closed windows and over the airconditioning noises and the whoosh of ceiling fans?

my guess is that the frogs are dining on the bugs that are attracted around the fish pond!

to get rid of the frogs ya gotta get rid of the reason they are there - bugs.

Can we convince you to try 'white noise' or soft music and see if that helps a bit?

Your pond must be healthy or the frogs wouldn't be there- so that is an accolade to the care you give it. You're doin' it right!

Maybe it is mating season and they are more vocal. If so, that shouldn't last too long.
They are eating bugs, a good thing. Maybe they eat love bugs?
Are they really tree frogs? I've only seen the garden variety in my little pond, usually a single one at a time.

Think you might learn to love them?

Had a swimming pool that attracked the tree frogs. Got rid of the pool and away went the tree frogs.

I'd rather have frogs than bugs....the birds, frogs, geckos etc. can keep down the insects.

Extension Service: Ice those Cuban treefrogs, literally Naples Daily News

I'm trying again to help. I know how raucous those critters are, and your sleep is precious. here's a tidbit gleaned from aforementioned IFAS at UF. Hope this helps.
