Kids under 18 do not need ID’s for domestic flights.

Agree with JM

BUT..........make sure they have contact information in their pockets, in their backbacks and on their cell phones.

I would also use Life360 on their (& your) cell phones.

Also, you can confirm with the intended airline what THEIR requirements are as they will need to escort the children to and from the planes.

I’d contact the airline instead of TOTV

Human trafficking is one of the reasons TSA may require identification.. always side with caution to protect our children

SouthWest for 12, 15, 17 used their student ID with their pics, also carry BC. (No DL)
Prior paperwork required for southwest. But no employee intervention. They boarded the shuttle to TV with no issue.

Return shuttle and flight 17yo travel alone, 12&15yo left following week, No employee interaction, no issues, but we’re allowed to board first with the families

Our kids had passports. Must be renewed every 5 years before a certain age (18, if I remember?).
