Default home purchase

Any problems with purchasing from the Village Sales Office and any discounts given with purchasing a new home?

And the answers are........no and yes.

You will be surprised to find no pressure from the sales staff and there is almost always a discount as you can see by looking at the official "thevillages.com" site.

You will be so pleasantly surprised.

I would recommend you track prices on the houses. I have seen the same house advertised for different prices on different days. And a couple of times on the same day - when TV ran two ads on the same day for the same house.

Never hurts to ask, "Hey Ms. Sales Rep, has there been or is there going to be any advertised specials on this house?"

We tried to get them to give us the deal they were offering with Designers when we bought our CYV. Didn't work out for us, but who knows, things seems to always change. Just have to be in the right place when someone pushes the pencil in the right direction. (Or maybe they throw darts.)
