I have been travelling a bit so missing my TOTV fix. Sounds like you are all set, but in case this helps:

We use ASI

Dwelling: $203000
Other Structures: $4600 (not sure what this is, maybe lanai?)
Contents coverage: $20000
Loss of Use: $20000
Liability/Medical: $300000/$5000

Deductibles:
Hurricane: 2% - $4060
All other perils: $500
I paid $571 in April 2010.

FWIW, I paid $626 in my first year (2007). Possibly because it was just after the tornado?

Sounds a little high. I have $200,000 on my CYV, concrete, hip roof with sink hole, etc. $500 deduct and I pay $475 through USAA company that does teir FL insurance. Can't remember name, but know they are in St Pete.

Interesting. My policy gets renewed in April and will use this thread to see what options I have.

I spoke with Bonnie Colangelo at the AAA office when I called for my quote. (352) 753-2500 x2264 I tried to reach her on Wed. and was told she was out of the office til Monday. I'm sure anyone there can help you.

Yes, if you are able to use USAA, give them a shout. Remember to ask for the Florida desk.

Guess I need to give them a call. They told me they were not doing Fl for homeowners. Did you have Homeowners elsewhere with USAA?
