Default Hooks & Needles - New Craft Group

I'm trying to form a new craft group for both beginners and anyone else who wants to share their knowledge of crocheting, knitting, cross stitch, needlepoint, etc - hence the name Hooks & Needles.

The group appears in the survey for this week and will next week as well. If you are interested in learning or sharing, please let me know and I will add you to the growing list of folks who want to play. I'm hoping to have this group located south of 466A and meet on Tuesday mornings.

Don't be shy if you are a beginner as everyone starts somewhere. If you're more skilled, perhaps you would be willing to help pass on your knowledge. Please let me know if you are interested.

thanks - Diane

Diane, I saw the survey in rec news. I have an infrequent guest who crochets the greatest afghans and scarves...I'm sure she'd like to visit your club when she comes here. I'm not a hooker, but I love the name!

I am a medium worker of crochet and knitting. I only know how to make blankets, scarves and shawls. I would like to join your group.

DianeM - am a snowbird who has but 6 wks remaining in my nest here - please keep me posted by p.m. re your group - i'd love to teach beginner, intermediate and advanced projects with you all come next winter - my specialty is crocheting Irish patterned Aran Isle afghans for babies and adults - also have awesome pattern for lapghans that are a great donation project for nursing homes - same lapghan also works as a great little throw for golf carts on a cold day!

Will still be here til the end of April if anyone is interested in learning while I am still here.

Your offer is exactly what I'm looking for. Sharing knowledge is what it's all about.

Would love to be part of your new group. I've been knitting since high school and always have several projects going. I've done everything from sweaters to socks.

I would be happy to find a newly forming craft group to join. Please keep me in mind when the group starts. It would be great if you could let me know as I sometimes miss things in the paper. There's SO MUCH to look through!
