I have a cousin who lives in Phoenix Az, and she always said that no place gets hotter than AZ, when the temps reach 120 degrees and all you do is go from A/C to A/C. I believe that 100 degrees with 100% humidity is worse thsan the dy heat.

Give me Florida anyday as my short experience here as the temps have never reached 100 degrees. It's very beautiful weather especially in the winter. It's good for these old bones.

You have to live in Arizona not just visit it. We spent a long winter there a few years ago, got there in September and left in May. I hiked the desert, climbed all of the mountains and played softball on lots of days that it was over 100 degrees. The worst part was when you were in the sun, it would burn you up. Once you are in the shade, 110 degrees is very tolerable. The evenings we found to be the worst. Once the sun started to go down and the temps to below 80, we had to go in, too cold. I guess what I want to say is if you spend the winter there and your body gets acclimated to the rising temps, they are great. You never sweat either. Our problem was that it is too far from our home state of Michigan. I can see why people want to live there though.

I am not besotted with life in The Villages, but that does not mean I am not contented. I cannot get all syrupy over an address. It's just where my stuff is.

Good. I understand that. Hope you aren't missing where you came from too much.
