Default Garages in CYV

I know most are 1 car garages, but has anyone been able to park 2 golf carts and a small car in the garage when the laundry is inside the house?

Actually, most CYV garages are considered car-and-a-half. Floor plans differ as do the actual dimensions of the garages for the various floor plans.

Here's a recent thread on the topic:

We have an Anna Maria and an outside laundry. I think two golf carts parked one behind the other (there is room for that kind of parking) and a small car would fit. But you do know that the golf cart you want will always be the one parked in front of the other.

We have a Bonita CYV and were considering purchasing a second cart. We have a Honda CRV and could have fit two carts - one behind the other. Would have been tight though. However, we also have two bikes and several shelving units in the garage too. Decided not to buy the cart at this time, though.

We have an Anna Maria also, north of 466. Like many others, especially those on corners, our garage is expanded, and with outside laundry can still comfortably fit two golf carts, one behind the other, and a minivan.
Just another reason to look at resales.

Default Yes -- but it's REAL tight

We have a Grantham CYV and just as an exercise in frustration (because it's not really practical in our case), we put the 2-seater Club Car in the spot next to the charger, pulled our Toyota Prius all the way up, then maneuvered the gas 2-seater Yamaha behind the car using parallel parking 101.

Other than that one time just to see if it could be done, we park the carts in the garage and just leave the car in the driveway.

Now if that hurricane were to hit us hard, they would have all been inside

Actually our car is a Town and Country minivan and we could get two golf carts in the garage. Our Anna Maria is new and in Buttonwood.

We live in an Anna Maria (Stoneybrook) courtyard villa. We park two golf carts and a medium size SUV in the garage. Granted it is tight and we need to move one of the carts before we use the car. We find we rarely use the car.The advantage of having two golf carts far outweighs the inconvenience of moving things around everyone once in a while.

Same with us, except our car is a Honda Fit and at least the driver can get it without moving the carts - the passenger usually gets in once the car is backed into the driveway. Right now we have been keeping the bikes in front of the car - going to change that and at least keep one bike (the one that is used more often) behind the car. Really, we only use the car about once a week.
