Default Water and sewer cost

Hi
What would be a realistic monthly dollar amount for my water and sewer bill on a 1600 sq ft designer home. The amount I see in the estimated monthly cost on the villages web site seems low. Their numbers are $21.00 for sewer and $38 for water.
Thanks
Renee

Renee, we're in a Whispering Pine which is approx 1680 sq ft. My potable water and sewer charges for the past 12 month average $36.50 so, at least in our case, the Villages estimate is on the high side.

Our irrigation has averaged about $9.00 per month. We have a standard interior designer size lot and try to make the effort to turn off the irrigation when we've had some good rain. Last winter was so wet that there were weeks at a time that we did not run the irrigation.

In case you're interested, our electric is averaging $118. That's for everything, we don't have gas.

I think that is pretty accurate too. We have a designer that is a little larger and our bill is a little bigger. It sure is less than at our home in Cincinnati!

We have indoor water (potable) that only runs about 25 per month. Outside we have the recycled irrigation water. With a large yard, our sprinkler system has 9 zones that I run twice a week for 20 minutes per zone. That cost us approximately 50 dollars a month.

Default Seems pretty close to me....

Our Wisteria sits on a typical sized lot (small) and we also use reclaimed water for irrigation. I irrigate once per week unless the lawn is stressed or the system determines it has had enough rain.

I did not break it down, but last year our average payment to North Sumter was $198 per month.

Of that $138 is for amenity fee, leaving $60 for potable water, sewer and irrigation.

Don't forget to subtract out $16.92 for garbage and recycling.

As Zcaveman has pointed out, I was incorrect in my assessment. It should have read:

As solid waste services are $16.92, it looks like I am quite a bit below TV estimate for sewer and water.

I live north of 466, fairly near the Savannah Center. I don't have the option of recycled water for the lawn. Anyway, for July my water bill was $41.40 and the Sewer was $30.93 - about typical. I water twice a week and have a corner lot, slightly oversized because it is a corner. We live in a Ranch of, I think, 1680 sq feet.
