Default Aluminum or fiberglass covers for existing bird cages

Has anyone used aluminum or fiberglass roofing to cover an existing birdcage. Was it approved, and who did you use? I have used canvas before but would like to know available options.

I have thought about plexiglass tinted panels but I have never seen them advertised anywhere. They may be to expensive however the canvas panel are pretty expensive in my opinion!

I would ask ARC first, I doubt the metal will be approved, and if you are talking about the ribbed fiberglass, I doubt that would be approved. The application costs nothing, takes about 2 weeks, and is typically good for 6 months. Also, I would be concerned about the noise during a rainstorm for both of these options. If your neighbors are close (like a villa) they make object to the noise also.

Another thing to consider is that those things were designed to survive hurricane force winds WITHOUT a fixed roof.
