Default VCCD Alert

Just received my first alert after signing up on VCCD site. Precautionary boil water notice for somehomes on Peachtree Lane. Don't live there but good to know to contact friends who may. This is a great service.

Default Great idea!

After reading Ladylake1's post, I checked out the VCDD e-notification signup page http://www.districtgov.org/newsletter/newsletter.aspx and signed up for a few notifications and newsletters myself. I love being in the know and wasn't aware of this service. Gracias!

Thanks a lot Ladylake1. I signed up and received my email activation letter, and am now in the know.

They should have a water use map, like the voting districts map, to indicate which of the 3 to sign up for, though. I signed up for all 3 because I didn't know which one that serviced me. No biggie, though.

Thanks again. I've notified my non-TOTV-er friends to this.

This link shows which districts/villages are served by the water utilities. You can also download a map from this page. http://www.districtgov.org/departmen...utilities.aspx

Didn't see that. Thanks. I guess I'll now get notifications I don't really need.
