kcrazorbackfan -- when did you move here? We did a mostly move last week and I feel like my house is still a war zone! Tell me there is end in sight!

why is anyone concerned with how some stranger spends their time? It's their time.

I learn a lot from TOTV. I trust the opinions of many on TOTV regarding contractor services. I also like reading the comments of all, including the cranky ones, the wise ones, the happy ones, and the crazy ones like me.

And you still have time to enjoy your hillbilly retreat. BTW, that comes under cranky because I am jealous.

Every morning with coffee. You'll help keep me in the loop while I sit on the beach in Virginia! See you every morning, back in the fall.

Hey, if you think TOTV sucks up or time, you should see the stats on Facebook! I saw a funny cartoon recently (OK, it was on Facebook). A man was entering Heaven and was being told, "Actually you had a very interesting life. Unfortunately you missed it because you were constantly looking down at your phone."

AND most of us are independent self reliant people who have lived a successful life and stayed out of jail.

We can do what we want, TOTV is not illegal, immoral or fattening.

I can only answer for myself. Multi-tasking. For example, at the moment, I am responding to this post with my right hand, doing an intricate needlepoint with my left, dictating my biography to a recording device and playing hacky sack with my feet. All this while visualizing my next round of golf.

Also, it's a great way to stay in touch when you're a Seasonal Resident!

Some people like golf, some people like naps, some people like being on TOTV.

Your priorities are where you spend your time. That sounds trite but it is true. I SAY my priority is painting, but where I spend my time belies that statement.

I really like ToTV, lots of info, some occasional misinfo, but always lots of people willing to spend some time to help others. This is what makes this whole place so great.

Last Sunday (5/17). I am a neat freak and these boxes and clutter are driving me crazy. I told my wife that sooner of later that we were going to get visitors; she said it would be awhile. Well, guess what? One of her close friends from STL is coming next Sunday. Time to go into high gear to get everything done.
