To the OP. The information you're getting in most cases, is inaccurate and uninformed. Every item is different, there are different standards for different "return reasons" and no single "shipper" can handle any and all returns (unless you want to pay for the return, packaging and shipping). It also depends on if you have Amazon Prime and & how good of a customer you are. Here are the basics, direct from Amazon. |

So instead of pursuing an answer via Google, or Amazon, I guess it's easier to put the burden on other people to give you an answer. But it's also amazing that so many people are willing to do it. Ten years ago TOTV had a lot more relevant answers to relevant questions. Now it has devolved into asking people what their favorite cookie is. I guess I may be a grumpy old man, but I'm still right. :rant-rave:

You can take it to Kohl’s in 441 or the UPS store in Pinellas Plaza.

I find the easiest way to return an Amazon item is at Staples. In and out in a few minutes. Just make sure you select Staples when you are online.,

Just go tot he UPS store by Winn Dixie on $^^A They have the self service you describe. Super simple, Although some Villagers are stubborn and insist on standing in line to have it done the self service is quick and easy

Safe Ship accepts Amazon returns
Others have all given sound advice. Safe Ship locations also accept Amazon returns for free if pre packed and not QR coded...bar code only. If your package will fit, there are UPS drop boxes around The Villages. I use the one in Brownwood often.
