Looks like we’re all going to catch this cold sooner or later. Good thing we live in a free state.
I love how no politics is allowed here, yet there's this.

Admittedly Troll comment follows: So why didn't "HE" have the 5,460,000 worldwide deaths that have already occurred (and even if one doesn't believe there were 5,400,000 you can use 999,000 as a number .... or even 900 ). They don't have "lives to live" anymore and their families don't have their fathers, mothers, daughters etc.

If you took the vaccine, wore a mask and social distanced, panicked and stayed at home, you definitely followed the crowd.

I trust that god gave us brains so that some of us could become doctors and scientists. If she didn't mean for that to happen, it wouldn't have happened.

Then again, I'm agnostic, and never believed in your god in the first place. No need to start now, I've managed the last 60 years without her.

It's a good reminder that even vaccinated, one can get sick. I must admit I had the time of my life dancing to Blue Stone Circle on New Year's and although I tried, there wasn't always social distancing happening. I certainly don't want to be a burden on the medical scene, so I will continue to try to avoid getting sick.

And to address the OP's concern about lockdowns, I don't think that will happen in TV.

I think it’s the moderators starting these threads otherwise it would be a lot of posts from people that don’t know how to use the internet search engine, it would all be about dog poop, landscaper recommendations, etc..

I too rarely follow the crowd, we err on the side of caution. We're lucky, we have a motorhome and it's easy to get away for a week or three, we recently took a couple trips, one to the Keys and then another to the Miami/Homestead area.

Pauld315, I agree but I think that law will have come from someone higher up than him!

I used to think our health experts knew what they were doing and now I think they don't really know what is going on and are grasping at straws

and many of those SELF-PROCLAIMED medical EXPERTS have totally different and contradictory views

Back when this virus started it was all about clean surfaces masks and testing.

We waited for the vaccines as we were told that the vaccines were the way to go and when they first came out people thought that was the end of the virus as we would have some form of herd immunity as well

We soon we found out that vaccines sort of worked but not the way THE EXPERTS thought they would work...soon a 2nd shot was needed and now a booster and then maybe another booster? YET MORE AND MORE people got the Virus many of which were vaccinated with a booster.

but even with all of that we are now being told that while its good it does NOT really vaccinate you against the virus but maybe it makes the new virus like the flu ?

Testing has turned into a joke with a ton of different EXPERT opinions

Once considered the best way to go by the experts

now it seems that testing provides results that are confusing and doesn't really protect the folks who tested negative as they might get it an hour later.

Biden said he would 500 million test kits by Mid Jan...will that help ?

and where will he get them

as I believe Abbot makes the most reliable test kit and they can only make a small fraction of that amount

So yes I was a BELIEVER in the EXPERTS at the beginning but not any longer
I remember (way back lol) when everyone was making cloth masks. Now, we're told that . . . no, don't wear cloth masks. They're worthless. Wear KN95 or surgical masks. I still believe in the experts: they probably know more than most. But I'm no longer sure they know much more.

It's called LEARNING. As science (sorry folks, science really does exist) learns more they have to adapt to it by making changes. As for cloth masks they were always deemed bad. That has been said for 2 years. However as time and LEARNING marches on they are able to refine their recommendations. Sometimes the recommendations were made due to shortages so the first responders could get their proper PPE first and some due to lack of knowledge at the time. If science didn't "learn as it went along" we'd be stuck in the dark ages. Yes, it is confusing and often aggravating, but if learning didn't continue folks would still be drinking bleach and gargling mouthwash and dancing around a fire pit swinging garlic on a rope to end this.

Speaking of masks. There is a good chance yours and many others "KN95 or N95" masks are counterfeit on top of everything else and really just a little better than a cloth mask. If you don't know will it still hurt you?

I was under the impression comments that are political are not allowed. Is that correct?
