Why do you say that.

Place is not perfect, no place is, but sure glad we moved here

This got me to thinking about how long I expect to live here (the rest of my life).

I am 72, my male ancestors one my fathers side typically made it to 80 to 85.

I expect I will make it to 85 if I don't get killed by an errant golf ball.

I expect I have a 50/50 chance of making it to 90-95 (better health care, food, etc than the men on my fathers side)

And maybe a 10-15% chance of making it to 95-100.

So, I will more than likely be here in TV 10 years, probably make it 20 years, could be here 30 years, but it is not likely.

How about you, do you think about it? Having any expectations?
Before moving here to the Villages I worked at a power plant in the Brooklyn Navy Yard in NYC. The Navy yard was commissioned by President Thomas Jefferson in 1802. There was an original dry dock right outside the facility. It’s not dry anymore as water from the East River fills the slip. But, the water level hasn’t changed since 1802. So, I don’t think flooding will be here for quite a while.

If it is not rude, can you explain why you still live here? It seems you are subjecting yourself to unnecessary unhappiness.

Taxes a lot lower than most places.

I am amazed as to how much control the developer has over local politics.

'Compared to most places not at all crowded even during snowbird season.

We are very happy we moved here but cannot satisfy everyone
