Default How much rain did we get?

I am trying to figure out how much rain The Villages got.

Does anyone have a rain gauge? What were your numbers and your general location?

Probably depends where in TV you are. All I know is the pool is really full.

That is why I requested the general location - to find out whether there is a significant difference in rainfall depending on location.

Got a feeling that this storm's rain is the same for all the Villages. Hardly a localized event. One thing for sure is that it is much less than Irma.

I believe we received over a foot during Irma , I was on a golf course then behind Pinellas Plaza the golf course had turned into a lake , it was pretty cool

I am in McClure, I lost count at 4,351 drops. I shouldn't get stoned before trying to count rain drops.

It's not over yet. Today is "Hurricane Day" here in the Villages. Gonna be "just" a tropical storm, but that comes with some damaging winds from gusts, and flash floods.

Yes it's not over yet but it looks like the heaviest rainfalls happened east and south of TV.

Yesterday morning, Eric Burris on WESH 2 reported a future rainfall by this Friday at 9:00pm to be just over 26” in The Villages. That certainly will not be the case here. That future forecast had me wondering if The Villages water management system would be able to keep up and prevent streets and homes from flooding.
