What cleanser will do the job? Our stucco sided house is light brown and has obvious stains from irrigation sprinklers over spraying. I've got the sprinkler heads adjusted correctly. Now, what should I use to remove the stains.
Thanks for product suggestions.

Snowcap from Ace Hardware worked great on my vinyl siding. Just spray it on and no scrubbing. No riinsing. The stains just disappear.

I agree with snocap, however, the instructions do state to wash it off after 10 minutes as I recall. Works great.

I would contact a house wash company and have them take care of the stain. Most companies will clean the entire exterior of a house for more or less $100.00.

If it is due to iron, I'd mix up some OxyClean (powder) with water (about 1 scoop/gallon) and using a pump up sprayer, spray it on the area then rinse off in 4 - 5 minutes. If it is iron you'll see it disappear before you can wash the area with clean water. You can find it in the laundry detergent aisle. You can use the rest of the OxyClean in your washing machine to give your detergent a boost.
As with all chemicals, wear gloves and especially if spraying use eye protection. |

Snocap is your best bet, won't harm the paint.

Maybe homeowners here will start checking irrigation system monthly and avoid these problems and wasting water

Most of TV is using non-potable water for irrigation anyway. There is only so most adjustment one can do when the grass goes up to the wall.

Irrigation water in almost all the newer areas is recycled from the ponds. The water keeps things green and alive, and the excess seeps into the ground aquifer and then eventually back into the ponds. The ultimate in recycling.

Where do homes in the older areas get their irrigation water?
