I think the newer resident's are bucking the trend to wear "anything anywhere", and are improving the image of TV overall.
Saw a guy last week with turquiose shorts, and a non matching blue shirt.
Loafers with dress socks up to the knee!!!

He didn't have any fashion sense. Definitely a SA fan!!!

Won't make the ten best dressed men, in America.

They don't yet have a dog in the passenger seat of their golfcart.

I must confess Sheldon and I somehow managed to get our very slow golf cart that came with our lifestyle cottage onto the bridge at Morse Boulevard and could NOT for the LIFE of us figure out how to get off the danged thing. There was a two foot wall separating us from the cart path. We were praying there would be a panic space in the wall at some point so we could get off the danged street.

Some guy on the cart path honked his golf cart horn at us, pointed and laughed like a hyena. We were MORTIFIED!

He wasn't a member of the friendliest. He was a member of the jerkiest.

And they actually show appreciation for the entertainment by clapping.

They use their golf cart directional signals and actually stop at stop signs.

They feel compelled to play golf, tennis, pickleball, shuffleboard, bocce ball, basketball, softball, and join a dozen clubs, and don't take naps, and dance every night at a town square, and go out to eat every night, and wonder why they are so tired!

And then they experience "Villages Burnout".
Then they nap every afternoon and sleep eight hours every night.
They gain a pound every week.
And it suddenly occurs to them
"We're not on vacation, this is now our home!"
And what a wonderful place to live!
