do a search of past threads and you will find plenty of information, including a link to an expose done by an Orlando TV station

It looks like the eraser in the sky removed some comments that were recently made .. wftv Action 9 news had this "feature" back in March.
if the link Im posting gets erased, hopefully you can just go to the Action 9 web site

From what I understand the news article had issues with homeowners renting their homes through VIR. I can only speak from the opposite side of the coin. At the time the news article came out my wife and I were planning to come to TV and use a rental we had obtained through VIR. Since the article concerned me I immediately sent off an email to VIR asking about it and to make sure our rental was ok. That evening I received 3 separate emails from the owner of the company. The last email came at 11 pm. In the emails he explained the situation with the article and explained in detail each person that had appeared in the article and what the problem was. He assured me our rental would be ok. So we came to TV and had a great rental experience through VIR. Everything worked the way they told us it would and they had great communication throughout the whole experience. We recently returned from TV and we've already booked out next rental through VIR for this Sept. They usually give a 5% discount for re-booking with them but they said we were a pleasure to deal with so they gave us 10% off our Sept. rental. Another bonus is they no longer charge a security deposit when you rent through them. Their web site is very easy to use, you can plug in any days you want to see if a rental is available and how much it costs. I guess you can tell we were very happy with our experience with them.

I also rented through VIR when I had multiple friends visiting The Villages. It was flawless and they did a great job. I have no information on how the property owners feel about them.
