Talking I Can See My Breath!

Left Havana at about 9:20 this evening and when I got outside I could see my breath. Got to the car and had to use my Tushy warmer as I sat there wearing jeans, woolie socks and a Lands End insulated jacket.

Did I make a wrong turn?

I thought I moved to Florida!

Should all of us Villagers pack up and move further south????

now lets see, can any of us come up with ideas why we should see the glass half full? my guess is, we dont have to think too hard and this too shall pass!

(but in the meantime, we are all freezing our tush's off!)

nONIE:

I'd thought about that. But everybody I know in South Florida tells me that there are far too many old people there, and they don't think us youngsters who live in The Villages would be welcome!

The next option, of course, is a cozy Caribbean island. But, think of the logistics of getting there, or away from there.

I think I'll just hunker down and stay warm!

Maybe next January I'll plan a long cruise in a warmer climate! I'll bet Villagers could fill even the immense Oasis of the Seas!

Question wacky weather everywhere

I think this year is the year of wacky weather. We have been having warmer weather here in Seattle than you have. It was 52 today here at sea level, 20 miles up the mountain it is snowing. Last year it was black ice everywhere this time of year, so I am not complaining. Hope it will be a warm winter the year we move down or the "I know we should have retired home to Hawaii." will be heard from my husband non stop.
