Thumbs up I love thunder & lightning!!!!

Having been in Florida for 9 years, after living in a place for over thirty years that didn't have them....I'm still enthralled with thunderstorms.

Nothing like a cold beer on the lania with a light show going on in the sky.

It never will unless I fear it to do so. Laugh in the face of death and you will be the last person alive.

I think the odds are better, of getting hit by a good-old-boy drunk..... driving a golf cart.

I love the storms - remind me of being a young girl in Ohio. I use to get on the front porch glider with a good book and enjoy the rain, thunder and lightning.

Default Storms

Worked for an Electric Co in the Mid Atlantic area for 32 years. Ever time we had a T&L storm the phone would ring and time to go to work. I can now sleep thru a storm, knowing the phone is not going to ring. I like watching them now. Hated working in them. A lot of mean people when their electric went out.

It may have been meant as a joke, but it's likely true!!!

Nature's "light shows" can be spectacular. I too have always enjoyed sitting in a safe place and watching, especially those summer storms when it's not necessarily raining and the clouds are filled with huge nonstop flashing!

I love a rainstorm. I love a beautiful sunset. I am very fond of the artist too.

But so sad at the devastation that weather can do.
