Default Which ID?

Our son and his wife will be staying in our home for a month while we are traveling. While here they will be having a number of visitors who will need guest ids. I'm not sure whether to get our son a paid ID or just the regular ID that we have gotten for them for past visits. Can anyone explain the difference? Thanks

The $50 resident id gives them the rights of a resident. The free guest I'd is somewhat limited. They cannot get guest ids for their visitors on the guest id.

To get the resident id, go to the Spanish Springs Sales Office, ask for the temp id office. You'll have to fill out a form and turn in your ids (temporarily--you pick them back up at the same office when you return and your kids' ids are no longer valid). They get their paper resident ID cards at the Lake Sumter Sales Office. Make sure there is no overlapping of days when you are here and when they have a resident id -- they'll need a guest id for those days.
