A few years back I witnessed a man with New York license plates taking his two young daughters for a walk in a field to get close to a brown bear. They had food in their hand and hoped to feed the bear. When the Ranger finally arrived and forced the guy back to his car, he told those of us down by the road that there are fools that try to do this every year. Talk about being stupid. This guy took the cake. This didn't happen at some zoo in New York City. It was at Yellowstone in Wyoming

If he had Ohio tags I'm sure he wouldn't have done something so stupid.

Must be related to the idiot who tried to feed the buffalo. When the buffalo bit, they sued the developer.

Hence, no more buffalo's. Seeing buffalo's was very cool.

The wild animals are smarter than these idiot's.

I would have loved to have the buffalo's in TV but you can't fix stupid!

I really wonder sometimes how people like him make it through the day. Maybe the developers need to have everyone that rents or buys in TV fill out a questionnaire with the 1st question being "Are you an idiot? If you answered yes, you can't live here". Of course, too many have made it in already.

He could have been visiting a Villager, or possibly from a surrounding community.
I'd like to think that residents aren't the kind of people that would throw rocks at gators!
He was probably a recently-arrived Snowbird! I heard on TOTV that they get up to ridiculous things.

What does his residence have anything to do with this topic? All New Yorkers are not created equal.

Especially those of us from Long Island. Out of respect for GG, I will not comment on Ohioans

That's o.k. go ahead and brag on Ohioans. We are used to it, and we always say thank you and hold open the door and bless you when you sneeze. We are the ones in the car behind you who are not honking.

Only in Ohio is Cornhole and threeway viewed as wholesome family entertainment.

We realize that a lot of people from Long Island are savin' up so they can someday move to the Paradise known as OHIO.

Go Bucks!

My golfing buddy is an ophthalmologist from Ohio, so I hear it every week.
(BTW, I hope your enjoying your new found eyesight)
Well, at least Ohio gave us Jack Nicklaus
I saved up, passed on Ohio(and GO, did not collect $200), and went directly to the paradise known as TV

I grew up in NYC and the people I knew were certainly shrewd enough to not feed the bear....we'd shoot it with our stolen 38 specials...

This doesn't have anything to do with New York, it has to do with idiots trying to feed dangerous animals. You missed the point. Try reading the rest of the post besides the words NEW YORK.
