If you use this service, make sure to call well in advance to make your reservation.

Exactly.....or designated driver.

We did see taxi cabs when we were there.
I believe they would be listed under THE VILLAGES "transportation".

Reading about the above accident was unsettling as we stayed fairly close to those polo grounds and drove on that road all the time.....once crossing it with a baby stroller. I noticed the "speeders". Come to think of it, I thought I read in the local paper, while there, that they were going to lower the speed limit?????????? Good idea.

This is for another topic but , does anyone know about the "drummers" who meet by the Legacy Country Club (in the vicinity of where that tragic accident was)........there had been a newspaper posting that they were all to meet and drum under the full moon..........but it rained pretty heavy and we didn't hear anything at all. Just wondering who in TV does that?

This would be a good opportunity for someone wanting to start a business/service. In some part of California (can't remember where..) a company will drive their motor driven bike to meet you, put the bike into the back of your car (or golf cart?) then drive you home in your own vehicle. This way it is in the driveway when you get up in the morning. I thought it was a great opportunity for someone to make a few bucks while making the roads safer.
