Default How Soundproof are the Villas

I'm wondering how soundproof the patio villas and the court yard villas are. I play the flute, violin, and piano. Would a neighbor be able to hear me playing? I haven't visited TV yet, but the pictures look like the villas are very close together. Thanks.

Default I'm interested in that too

Hi - I'm wondering that too. I play clarinet, and I'm planning to look for a designer home, in hopes of minimizing any concern about sounds when I practice.

We live in a courtyard villa, and I'd say they're pretty soundproof. My neighbor plays the trumpet in a Villages band, and the only time I hear him play (except for concerts) is when he's outside playing "Happy Birthday" to someone on our street.

They are close together, but I have never heard a sound from my neighbor's homes.

I thank God that the block and stucco courtyard villas are NOT completely soundproof or my husband would never have heard our elderly neighbor shouting his name at 11:00 one night. This poor man had fallen and was wedged in between his bed and a wall. Unable to get up he was lying there, yelling for help. All in all, though, we never hear our neighbors unless we are outside and they are outside.

We stayed in a CYV on our Lifestyle preview. Very quiet.

We rented a Patio villa last winter. Not as quiet as a CYV, but not too bad. Once in a while we could faintly hear the neighbor's TV, and, at first, when the neighbor on either side opened their garage door we wondered if it was our garage door that was opening.

I too play flute and piano and lived in a cyv for 4 years - no one ever knew I was playing or practicing. I think our tv was probably louder when we had all the windows open.

Enjoy!
