Default Butterfly Rainforest

Has anyone been to the Butterfly Rainforest in Gainesville? If so, what can you tell me; is it worth seeing, good for very young children?

IMHO it's WELL worth the trip. Very interesting and unique. We've been there a couple of times. Excellent for both adults and kids.

There is a nice art museum next door, although I can't recall the name. Visit the cafe in the basement for a nice lunch and good atmosphere.

Thank you BobKat1. Are the children allowed IN the habitat with the butterflies flying around them?

Oh yes. There were a lot of children each time we were there. It looked like there were school groups and clubs there.

If you stand still or sit on one of the benches the exotic butterflies will sometimes land on your arm or shoulder. The tropical foliage is beautiful too.
