So if I am able to continue working but am lucky enough to work from home could I buy a second home in the villages and not live in it but just use it to work out of? If so are there separate rules and regulations I would have to follow?

As long as you don't have people coming in and out or an extra ordinary amount of packages delivered what you do inside those walls is your business and probably Uncle Sam's since I think that is where you are headed with this!
