We want to put plantation blinds on six windows. We heard there was someone who lives in villages near Brownwood that does a good job and is reasonably priced. Does anyone know who this is or another reasonably priced good company? Thanks

Sorry but I can't help you with a local business as you requested but if you are at all comfortable with using a drill and a screwdriver checkout Blindster.com. We did our whole house and after hearing our experience a neighbor did the same. First window took about 30 minutes to install. After that it was about 15 minutes per window. Can't beat the price!

Sounds like you are referring to Steve with Just Shutters. He did our plantation shutters, and they are excellent. His prices are competitive, and he does excellent work. If you compare the Norman shutters that Steve uses to other "value" brands, the quality difference is quite noticeable. Lifetime warranty. See their website below.
