Default Comet A3 October 15, 2024. The Villages.

I saw it last night about 7:50 PM just to the north of Venus and at a right angle to that planet moving to the horizon.

I did not pull out the telescope .

It is supposed to be in about the same place same time tonight.

The Villages lights prevented me from seeing much of anything after 8 PM last night as A3 was too close to the horizon.

You don't want to miss this one! It is moving at 180,610 miles per hour but is not expected to return for another 80,660 years! I don't know how they calculate that!

I could not see much of anything last night as far as the comet was concerned.
