IMO it's done that way so the gate takes time up and down. This IMO allows carts to cross most ot the time before then next car can get through the gate. The problem IMO At dual gate entries at busy traffic times. Two car coming through don't allow enough time for carts to pass when alternating.

The Talley Ridge/Buena Vista intersection was this way, but TV redesigned it about a year ago. Now the cart path passes behind the gate. I wonder why they haven't done the same at the Southern Trace/Buena Vista intersection.

I think there is a white line before the cart path for traffic to stop at.

With sooooo many people there will always be problems..and it will get worse in time. Here in Parrish, Fl a new bridge over the Manatee River will mean more people. Urban sprawl will eventually go from Sarasota to Tampa... that's why I cherish my summer living in the rural lake country of Minnesota...

And all the mosquito's..................lol.

It will get worse in time because hard rules are not laid down for children who are being raised by strangers who the parents would not give the keys of their car to....AND parents do not want their children disciplined when they are not there and think their children are always right because they are not with them all of the time..

We were jerked around and taken to rest rooms and told...THAT is not how we act!!!! My daughters say that everytime they enter a public restroom they think something bad is going to happen. lol.

Yes. It will get worse.

i keep the sheriff on speed dial
I would have called right away
these idiots could have hurt someone
don't shrug these things off, to many of these incidents
yes we are retired but it is our home
let the police handle them, also take down the license info
I no longer shrug these off
it is your home protect it.
