I’ve been able to receive Amazon deliveries from day one - I did however have to meet the truck for Matress Firm at the Clarendon Rec Center and escort them to my house, as they could not locate my address on their GPS.

We tell companies to use the Waze app when delivering to us in new DeLuna as we are difficult to find too. Waze updates more often than Google Maps. Amazon has only messed up once, but that’s easy to do when every street has the same numbers, just a different street name. A neighbor on the next street brought us an Amazon delivery last week that he received because his house number is the same as ours, but one street over. Really dumb way to number homes in a village IMO.

Default Internet Service

I suggest that you give T Mobile a call. They are advertising 5G internet for $50/month.

Unfortunately, our address does not appear on any map so whenever we need to check on the web sites, it can't find us.

Since I am closing from out-of-state, I really can't knock on any doors and ask the neighbors.

Does anybody know which companies provide internet in Richmond?

Thanks.

Also, not really sure what we have in our Smart Home Ready home. Is this just a smart thermostat or is there something else that makes this special?

I was told that on the builder walk through, the builder can provide more detail on "Smart Home Ready".

We are closing on a house in Newell in a couple of weeks and ours is also noted the same.
You may want to consider checking out Centric Fiber. When I going through the docuSign process, there was a flyer in there for them. The price beats Xfinity and Spectrum, especially for 1GB upload/download speed. From talking to the person a Centric, they seemed to indicate that the "Smart Home Ready" houses are set up for fiber. Also they said that the service would be on and available on our closing date.
The flyer in the contract signing allows for the first two months at no charge and there is no contract or introductory rate so you can cancel or downgrade the service at anytime. Just give them a call.
We decided to try them out. Since we will close in March and will be seasonal, I'll start out with 1GB service while I'm there after the closing and then when we keave, downgrade to 100MB service. Leaving the service on will allow me to monitor the thermostat, cameras, irrigation (?),

If it’s in a new area it won’t share for a year or so BUT if you use the Villages App you will find it

Just checked and my street is in Waze and not in Google Maps. Thanks. That will be a big help.

Default Richmond

Call your "Village Salesperson".
Seems they did not tell you everything did they?

Verizon 5g internet is only a good as your cell phone signal. My experience so far in the villages is that cell phone signal is not that great
