We are new to Collier - beautiful views - but in the past month are seeing green "scum" forming around the edges of the ponds on golf courses. This is our first summer. What's happening? Will it turn into a lily pad pond? Who should maintain it?

I noticed the title of the thread of "What's up with pond scum".
Naturally, I thought it was a political topic! Sorry 'bout that. The pond algae is caused by warm nutrient fed water. Nothing to get concerned about. It is an annual cycle. |
