Obviously I didn't date any, but I sure know some of them.

It's a popular misconception that when someone who is angry and blows off steam, they rid themselves of anger.

When you express anger, your are reliving what made you angry, and then continue to still be angry.

I once took a lady out to a Chinese restaurant and when she got her fortune cookie, there was no saying in the cookie. She said that was her type of luck.

How about pessimistic Peter or complaining Charlie.

While it may be fun to gang up on people that you disagree with and make up disparaging names for them, but let's not forget that the one real element of change here that can truly count as progress is the improved amenities north of 466 that came about because some "Negative Nancies", etc. took the developer to task about amenities and got him to agree to create a fund that is being used to improve the amenities in that section.

You are right and people spread rumors and pass on misinformation.

Even in your dreams, you could not predict the fast growth and development of The Villages over the last fifteen years. I say---job well done!

Yes, I wish I lived here when there were Buffalos. I heard back then, on TOTV, you hardly heard a discouraging word and when you golf the skies were not cloudy all day.

Nobody is complaining about bringing up ideas or concerns for discussion. Certainly we know when they are presented to the appropriate people in the appropriate fashion it can affect change. It just seems there are those few who delight in bashing anything Morse or The Villages as a whole. Incessant whining and malicious falsehoods reflect their disdain for the developer.

There are those who just choose to live their lives with the glass half empty.

I guess I don't keep track of other's posts to know whether when someone complains about something it is part of a pattern of incessant whining or not. However, it does seem that whenever a "discouraging word" is heard, the posse gangs up on them and accuses them of being Debbie Downers. Maybe it's warranted, but maybe not.

I tend to be more of a pragmatist and prefer to associate with people who call things as they see them - both good and bad. People who can never see any bad in the developers, are just as tiresome to me as those who can't see anything good with them.
