Default Jamboree Cancelled???

I just heard tonight that the Jamboree scheduled at the polo fields on May 3rd is cancelled. Anyone know what happened? They have been selling tickets for it the past several weeks.

Probably The Villags Convertible Club newsletter. The Club was "participating" with a show of vehicles.
Too bad about the cancellation. It seemed that the planned event had good potential to grow into an annual major fun event.

The villages RC racing club had been invited to participate and were very disappointed that the event had been cancelled. We were looking forward to show our support to the event sponsors. I hope it will be reconsidered in the future.

Curious as to the answer to that question myself. Wonder what happened!

From what I heard from a very reliable source was that some of the events did not pass the vetting process by the Developer. An example is having balloon rides with an outside realty company's logo on it. Pretty understandable concern. Still somewhat vague overall, and there must be more to it. Hopefully next year will resurrect it as a lot of organizations looked forward to participating (the Parrotheads had put a blood drive together with a lower ticket price to those donating).
