Default glass lanai enclosure dilema

We are enclosing our lanai and didn't realise the many variables. we don't get sun so do we need low e glass? We will have an electric fireplace/heater, so do we really need thermal glass? I'm sure I'm not the first person who has had these questions and we really don't want to make a mistake. I would appreciate hearing any of your experiences(good or bad). Thank you Steve

I would get the best glass you can afford especially the low e to block out reflective sun light.

You definitely need Low E, Double Pane . Once its installed its tough to change out (and expensive). The added cost will be worth it compared to the alternative..
