Default Can the Sumter Co. Service Center (Powell Road) be reached by cart?

Not clear to me from Google Maps, and haven't tried to take Pinellas down that way. Hoping someone else knows!

No, not yet. That area is still a construction zone but I believe since Sweetbay is slated to be open in the fall then most likely it and the County bldg could be reached by golf cart.

not yet. burnsed blvd is not open from pinellas to the service center. it will be an awkward ride and very convoluted to get there anyway. those poor folks in the far reaches of tamarind grove who can see the golden dome but have to travel really out of the way to get there.

One little section not officially open. About two blocks long. Doesn't mean it has not been used.

I was at the library yesterday, and there was a golf car in the parking lot, but the barriers are still there.

if sumter county wants to present you with a traffic violation, they will. stay out of the cordoned off areas. they mean business.

I was thinking similarily in that a golf car being in their parking lot doesn't mean that it got there legally. That reminded me of something that occurred several years ago at work. I went to our director for some long forgotten reason and when he told me what he would do, I thought it was questionable and asked... "Can you really do that?" His answer to me was something like this... "I can decide to do whatever I want, at least until I get caught!"

We've been there, the round about way with our street legal cart.

I drove there with my cart but it definitely wasn't "ready".

I don't know how you go to different places aren't you the same person that drives to wildwood,
Even if you have a street legal cart you are driving on roads that are above the speed limit for you cart
When you get stopped I can't wait to hear you post. Look at the speed limit signs
