Unhappy Near Accident

Yesterday I was on my way to the Dr. and in front of the Palmer CC a car passed everyone and doing well over 55 MPH. At the next circle they were held up so when I reached the turn to go into SL the car passed me on the right in one lane, cut me off and nearly hit me and cause an accident. They appeared to be frantic and willing to create a crash. I was now behind them and at the next intersection to Barnes and Nobel they pulled into the parking lot. It is unbelievable they were willing to cause an accident and hurt someone just to get to B&N to get Palin's autograph. This kind of aggressiveness for such a non emergency is tragic. God help up.

Was it a small silver sedan? I had a close encounter with that frantic driver Sunday evening just before 8 p.m. It suddenly made a left turn from Morse Blvd. onto Colony right in front of me. Fortunately I was able to jam on the brakes and miss it by inches.

Perhaps you can explain your clairvoyance in knowing that the aggressive driver pulled into B & N to see Sarah Palin. Might have been rushing to the bookstore to pick up a new book

God was helping you, you didn't get in a crash. He also helped the aggressive driver as they were able to get the autograph. God helps everyone. Praise God.

There was no need to rush, 750 tickets were alloted and only 500 were used.

Lots of idiot drivers in TV. Some lady in a red car with flowers decorating the sides, passed me on the right in the golf cart lane this afternoon in Summerhill while I was waiting (signal on) for oncoming traffic to clear so I could make a left turn. No excuse for being in that kind of hurry. She had just left the postal station.

When driving up Buena Vista yesterday, a person in a pick-up truck deceided that 60 mph was the speed limit. I was hoping he/she would get a speeding ticket.

I couldn't tell who was driving, because it was nighttime and dark. I just wanted to get out of their way.

Their is no shortage of people who will do strange things, so becareful out there.

Unhappy Response

To the serious writer..It was an SUV and not Silver. It had some identifiers on it so I know which auto it was and can avoid the "idiot" who drives like that. I hope they got the autograph since they were willing to put their life on the line and the next person(s). Kind of sick !

The reality is that speed enforcement in TV's (Sumter Country portion) is very sporadic and hit or miss. How many golf carts are rigged to go 25 mph or faster? This abuse of the law is so blatant and common that one can find ads in The Daily Sun advertising conversion "services".

Default Near Accident

I had a woman pass me on the Morse bridge and weave in and out of traffic yesterday morning. I pulled into Sweetbay and noticed her again and it turned out she was an employee of a nearby establishment. I saw her park and hurry into work. She must have been late for work.

Default near accident

curious if it was a black pick up, today it was passing all of us weaving in and out on morse and a silver car was traveling the wrong way on the golf cart trail , very scary but Gracie warned us a couple of months ago it would only be getting worse as the people start migrating. Be caareful out there, be VERY careful.
