Are there any executive golf courses that have golf carts to rent for play? I would like to play some courses that are far from my home. I live in the north end.

As far as I know, none of the execs rent powered carts.

One thing that might work...you can rent a cart in TV from several places. The Villages Golf Carts rents them out for I believe $35 a day or some such price. That gives you the opportunity to use the cart on more than one course in a day if you choose. Or if it is a multi-day rental you could visit several different courses.

I've never done this, but I believe that a cart can be rented from the championship course that is associated with the executive course

A while back my wife and I played at Mira Mesa with a woman that drove her car up from the Village of Chitty Chatty and rented a golf cart at Hacienda Hills. On a side note, the woman never stopped talking the entire round, when she told us what Village she lived in my wife and I couldn’t stop laughing.

I just found out that you can rent at a championship course and use for executive, as mentioned above. It is $8.00 + tax per person. Good to know. I’m going to do it and be able to play more courses.

Actually on the south end, only Longleaf rents golf carts anymore and that will change once the championship course opens later this year.

We were told that under the new management, to be more like they rest of the courses, they were pulling all the power carts and CC machines and are CASH only.

You can rent a cart at Longleaf for use at Longleaf, Loblolly, Red or Gray Fox, or Lowlands. All other executives you can rent a cart at the nearest Championship course. Just call the Exec course and they will tell you which Champ course to get it from.

Not anymore. They've moved to Longleaf/Loblolly.

Woodlands, near the village of Well Point. That will be the championship course that will rent carts for all the exec courses south of 44. It'll be quite a long drive to some of those courses and require a bit of planning ahead time-wise.

You can rent here below 44 for any of the 6 courses. You would need to pick up the cart at Longleaf first, but you could then drive to Red and Gray Fox, Lowlands, Longleaf and Lobolly and Laurel Oak

Red and Gray Fox courses no longer have rental motorized golf carts. They only have pull carts.
