Default Polo Season Has Started (Pictures)

Last Friday was a gorgeous afternoon and the polo action in the semi-final game of The Lyall Cup was an exciting 11-10 win in the last 10 seconds of the game. There's few better ways to spend Friday or Sunday afternoons in The Villages than watching an exciting polo game.

Here are a couple of pictures I took at Friday's game.

VK,
Great action pics! What kind of camera do you have? Did you use manual or auto settings. Either way you are good.

Never have watched a Polo match, but am intriqued with the idea. If there is a match the 11th or the 12th of Apr. we will have to go. Do we need tickets?

Just looked around and I am not finding the Polo Schedule. Could you please point me in the right direction for that info? Thanks

ST,

Here's a link to the Polo Club:

http://www.thevillagespoloclub.com/

Looks like you are in luck...matches on Fri the 11th at 3pm; no need for advance tix, can purchase at the gate. Definitely something to do while you are here. The animals are magnificent and the players quite skilled. Enjoy.

Ditto the questions about camera, etc. Some really good shots. I'm envious!

You look like you were almost close enough to stomp the divots made in the grass by the horses and polo clubs. Do not know if that is the right word, but whatever....

Man I can hardly wait to get moved to the TV. Who would've ever thought that a poor slob like me would ever be able to live in a place that has polo matches. I'm a lucky, lucky man. Just 3 or 4 more years, Oh, now I'm sad!

What great pictures, thank you so much for sharing. As I set her typing the snow is coming down outside yet again. I can't wait to be at TV and see a polo match.
