On the left menu there's a street listing, you can find unit 202 in CDD15

the only "amenity" that I can see the new, most southern villages are isolated from is golf. And there is no denying that one. If golf isn't a big deal in one's plans, then it might be grand down there.
However, if you want a lot of golf courses within a few minutes golf cart ride from your home, then you need to be looking at a pre-owned somewhere.

On the serious side I don't want to steer newbies wrong. I believe (but can't find or totally recall) you are allowed to BYOB to a rec center. I do remember getting an alcohol permit for some big shindig we had in the past. I believe it had to do with having alcohol that was provided by the group and set up as a bar Vs BYOB. I think it was $25 to get the permit which was part of signing up for the room.

If anyone knows for sure please post so we don't send people down the rabbit hole.

This is fair. Too many people talk about the lack of amenities in the south when they are really only talking about golf.

Every thing you said can also be said by people living in other areas. Be it up in the northern "hinterlands", "between the 6's", or, like me, between 466A and 44...

You really have no idea what the "vibe" is anywhere else... Just as those who live farther north don't really know the "vibe" where you live...

Most people make friends near where they live. Be it in the southern or in the northern Villages...

My wife loves shopping at Anthony's in Colony Plaza. She goes to exercise classes and plays pickleball both north and south of 44, depending on what's available that day. She belongs to two different women's groups, one north and one south of 44. No one in either group cares where you live. I like being close to Lowe's or Ace Hardware... And that's what's great about The Villages. There's something for everyone!

The "new, younger folks" are buying all over The Villages... Remember, not everyone retires at 55...

Our last driveway party went till just after 10 pm...

And the rec centers allow you to BYOB...
