Default Kansas City Chiefs Fans?

We will be moving into our new home in Chitty Chatty on December 15th...coming from Kansas City. Looking forward to everything about the move except missing our KC Chiefs games. Once the playoffs start, and every game is a national broadcast, we'll be OK. But, until then, is there a anywhere on the town squares that will be showing the weekly games? Any advice is greatly appreciated!

Go to nflbite.com and choose your team. Every game is streamed. Skip the ones that ask you to download an app or something else. Keep working your way down the list of streams till you find a good one that doesn't ask you to sign up or download something. Sometimes they will buffer, but you will find one that works well. We use an extra laptop and plug it into the television so we can watch on a bigger screen. But I personally prefer just watching the games on my laptop. The color is crystal clear. Good luck and welcome. I'm a diehard Steelers fan but love watching Patrick Mahomes.

There are many places to download streams of the games. This is just one; I'm sure others have different options.

you can also get a 'firestick' and watch all the stations that were local to you before you moved to TV (as well as see any game you want from the comfort of your own home)

Since the Chiefs/Dolphins game is on channel 6 Orlando today and you're in the new area, you're probably only 50 miles from Orlando and the land is flat, so you can probably pick it up with rabbit ears.

You can also do it the old fashion way, Get Directv for your TV and a new subscriber gets NFL Ticket free the first year. So if you sign up, tell them you also want it free next season since this season is almost over. I've been with Directv since 2008 and have had NFL Ticket every year since 2011. In 2017 and 2018 they gave me NFL Ticket for free for being a loyal customer. This year I had pay the usual amount of $48 a month for six months, but then they gave me a $60 credit every month for 12 months, so I come out ahead about $500 and can watch every game just by flipping the channel or watch all 8 games at once on one screen.

Another easy way is to buy an Amazon Firestick for $35 and go on youtube and watch videos on how to jail-break the stick and pick up every channel in the world, 6,000 channels, although it's somewhat of a gray area if that is totally legal. Or go to Market of Marion and pay one of three vendors $40 to jailbreak the stick for you.

Huge risk for a very small reward.

Is it legal to get TV for free with the Firestick they sell at the Flea Market?

I have two neighbors that both use jalbreak Firestick, and if you're on any of the Villages 6 different Facebook sites, when they discuss TV that subject is always one that many people will mention. I think it has gotten so far out-of-hand that the FCC wouldn't even know where to start other than to shut down the sites that they use, but those are many times in foreign countries.

BTW, do you post on Chiefs Planet? I've been a registered user since August 2001 as DeepPurple. There was a fellow on there from St. Petersburg who is in charge of the Chiefs local fan club there and was wondering about starting a branch here in TV. This was a few months ago.

Welcome to the Villages! We moved here for 5 years from Overland Park and are big Chiefs fans However, right now we are limiting our contact with large groups, so we'll be watching the games from our home. Sorry I can't help you with your question. GO CHIEFS!!!

My wife & I just moved here from KC last month! We are renting while they build our house in St. Catherine. Thank you for posting this! I’ll be adding my name to the Watch Party mailing list as well. I’m sure we’ll see you around.

World of Beer in Brownwood was showing all the games last year. Haven't been out to restaurants/bars this year, but I imagine they still show them. And lots of different beers too!

Can’t beat sitting in a crowded restaurant nowadays to watch a 2.5 hour football game!

My husband is a big Chiefs fan. There's a nice size group of them here in TV. He watches them at either Gators in Brownwood with the group or on our home TV. We have traditional cable with Spectrum. They are getting more national air time as last year's Super Bowl champs. We are looking forward to the Central States Club meeting again when things open up more. You will meet quite few Chiefs fans there. Watch the rec news in Thursday's paper.
