Default KIN HO Insurance

Anyone had experience or use KIN for homeowners insurance? Rate seems quite good.

Isn't that an insurance agency, not an insurance company?

We used them for two years. Easy to work with at 800 number, took care of any paper issues we had immediately. Best price out of any other company.

Didn’t have a claim, so no experience there. We saved about$800 a year.

KIN has only been in business for 7 full years. Might be a bit risky if you actually had a catastrophic claim. Many here and on Nextdoor have said that KIN gives a honeymoon rate to suck you in and then BAM!

AS ALWAYS..............Read the policy.
Easy to have cheap premiums with there's not much coverage.

Also, KIN lost $60,000,000 last year.
First quarter of this year..............$10,000,000 loss.
No second quarter report yet.

The "cheap model" is not working or sustainable.
