Default How long before the Sumter County records show our name as owners?

My husband and I recently purchased a home in Summerhill. We are interested in renting it out part of the year. How long before the Sumter County records show our name as owners? I really don't feel we can even list our home as a rental until our name shows on the public records. Thanks for any help.

We just sold a home in TV. We closed on March 28th and the deed was recorded on April 15. Shortly after that the county records were updated. Don't know exactly when but if it's been more than a month, you should call the Sumter County Recorders office and ask them.
Good luck with your rental !
