Frankinscence essential oil. Order from Vitality Extracts online.
It’s available as a roll on or bottle- apply and massage in.

So if you found one that worked well that is what I am looking for, I will be going back to my doctor in a few weeks, so I do not need a doctor referral UNLESS this would be required for a specific creme (CBD based?)
Thank you for any information.

Default knee pain

Your always willing to help people so: if you would like I have a cream I was given by VA for my knees after I run. I have a new spare tube you can have if you want to give it a try. You could get a prescription if it works. Let me know.

Biofreeze is a great alternative if you think it is just muscle pain/arthritis. It can be purchased st most drug stores in spray or lotion.

My knee doctor’s office sells a CBD lotion… you might see if yours does the same

A big thank you for the offer, actually the "veterinary liniment" I picked up at Sparrs is working very well, so I am going to continue with that. I put is on yesterday afternoon, and my knee is still fine this morning.

The nice thing about a horse cream is that unlike people, horses are not influenced by ads or placebos.

Arnica oil. It’s a botanical anti inflammatory and analgesic. For me, it’s been magical. It’s not an instant fix. Takes a couple of days. Use it religiously and in about a month you will really feel the difference. Some people combine it with CBD oil. You do not need a prescription either. I get it through Amazon.

This definitely helps if inflammation is the problem. However, most people don’t read the instructions & don’t use enough & rub it in per the instructions. The trick is everyone reacts to topicals differently so it may or may not work for each individual. That being said, joint pain is tough but the rule of thumb in the medical community is ICE…Ice, Compression, Elevation. Good luck. This getting old sucks. 😉
While both Voltaren and Motrin, Aleve, etc are all anti-inflammatories, the latter are in no way related pharmacologically to Voltaren...

That said, I've had some success recommending topical Voltaren to my patients when they cannot tolerate oral meds...
