Barefoot,

Russ is correct. There is no sound.

When we were down there in April with some friends, we called her son on her cell phone and had him get on the site so he could talk to her and see what we were doing. Kind of a cheap way to have your kids and relatives actually see that you are enjoying yourself. It is also a great way to show your friends what they are missing...... (make em jealous).....

 Too bad we aren't able to zoom in and around the area. But glad it's back too! If I can't be there, at least I can make sure folks are still having fun.

Thanks! It worked! It was good to see all the palm trees! We'll be moving there in March, but plan to visit, again, in December and, hopefully, find our house. We signed our purchase agreement, yesterday, and the closing will be in a couple months. Woo Hoo!

Thanks, Donna! I'll be the one dancing up a storm! I want to look at the web cam this evening to see if there's anyone out there dancing in the heat! Right now, it's pretty deserted. But, I feel a little like a spy...it's weird!

You can zoom in, but you cannot move the camera. If you look at the one in Spanish Springs, they have it looking at the Rialto. They actually have to send someone up and move them manually. The zoom will make the picture get more out of focus. as you are not really zooming the camera but the picture on your screen. On the lower right corner of the picture you will see something that says 100%. Click on this and it will zoom in to 125% and so on....

I can't help it but the prankster on my shoulder is whispering in my ear......nope scratch that.....SHOUTING in my ear. Who's got the nerve to make a sign with TOTV in BIG LETTERS.....and display that in front of the webcam at Sumter. Hummmm? Maybe do a little dance.....ohhhhh the possibilities.....

Donna and oshun....

look at my post just before oshun's post. on the lower right side it should say 100%. left click on this area and it will make the picture bigger.... not a real zoom but it will amplify the picture by first 125% and if you click again by 150%. if you click a 3rd time it goes back to 100%... good luck

Larry---- 767 days to go 4 hours 14 minutes... but who is counting ;D  :2cool: :hot:

They changed the view on the Lake Sumpter camera away from the square but moved the Spanish Springs one to the square. ???

I know it is 8:00 at night but they are both so dark!! I will have to try it in the day time.

That lower right hand corner mentioned by larrydube is part of Internet Explorer 7. I finally found it.

Thanks larrydube.

I do not know of any others. They will probably get one for the new 3rd square whenever that is done. I heard around 2010?
