Was wondering if there is a link for "contractors of all kinds" that are recommended or NOT recommended?? I know of folks who've hired dis-reputable folks to add-on or fix stuff with their homes....also landscapers, pest-control people and so forth.

go to the "contractors and services" forum here on TOTV.
You can do searches on names of contractors or suppliers to see if there is any info. If not you can create a thread asking about a general need or a specific contractor and you will get a good bit of information back (most of the time).

You can always call Seniors against Crime at the Sheriffs Office. They have a list of who NOT to use.
