I have the stone on my drive for years last year I had a new 1/2 inch dressing put on it that was after 16 years of use. You can drive on it will not crack, in fact you would need a jack hamer to get it off.
It does require maintance and here is the problem on less you don't have it sealed ever 18 to 24 months that is where the problem lies or if you do try to seal it with the sealer sold at the big box stores (that was my problem) it adds at lot to a home. I have matt to my work on it he has done the work for years and his prices a very fair. I had an est of $3000 dollars from one Co for the half inch
Matt did it for $1200. Watch out for the rib off, some people think retire people have a lot of bucks
