Default Landscape Curbing recommendation

Hello all. I rarely post, and rarely give recommendations. A business has to be exceptionally excellent for me even to consider it. That being said, I recently had over 220 running feet of curbing and stone done at my home. I got about 4 estimates and Jim Revell, owner of Kwik Kurb by 3D was who after much research the company I picked to do our curbing project. We are SO glad we did....!

Jim was the ONLY company who carefully dug down to the dirt, well below the grass line and then installed a separate foundation/footer of colored concrete between 2-4 inches thick BEFORE installing the curbing. This brings the curbing up higher than the grass, which helps prevent mower damage. This way you can see it well, even if your grass is high. The color is all the way through the concrete. They then use a quality sealer and puts 3 or 4 coats of sealer on the curb. He also drills weep holes along the curb for water run off.

Jim is at every job, and his two workers, Jordan and Chris are hard working and very polite. I feel we got the very best job we could have gotten, and of the 4 estimates they were actually the least expensive. I am picky about the finished look and how straight the end result is. They strung lines, etc., to get everything just right. They put quality fabric down before spreading the stone. They are a local company and they have been in business for over 15 years.

Other companies sometimes just put the curbing over grass and use much less concrete. Their phone number is 352-383-1123. Hope this helps! Respectfully, Frank D'Angelo

Looks great, how much a foot? By the way, you are the best home inspector I’ve seen. You did ours and I was impressed

Thank you so much for the kind words. The curbing was roughly 10-11 dollars a running foot.....Thanks again!
